Essentia Health Continuing Medical Education (CME) supports physicians and other medical professionals in practice improvement, evidence-based patient care and the fulfillment of licensure requirements. Each year nearly 12,000 participants expand knowledge and practice to achieve optimal patient outcomes by participating in a variety of accredited Essentia Health CME offerings.
The Minnesota Medical Association (MMA) has accredited Essentia Health to provide American Medical Association Physician Recognition Award Category 1 Credit™ for physicians. Essentia Health is currently among only 5 percent of CME programs nationwide earning accreditation with commendation status. Essentia Health has earned this distinction two consecutive accreditation cycles.
