Essentia Institute of Rural Health, as the education and research arm of Essentia Health, desires to cooperate with our academic affiliates to provide learners with an appropriate experience meeting the needs of both the educational affiliate program, as well as EIRH research objectives. To be eligible to conduct a research project at Essentia Health, learners must meet the following criteria:

• We will not enter into new learning experience agreements for student research projects.
2.) Has the student completed a clinical placement at Essentia Health for this program?
• Clinical learners must have completed a clinical placement at Essentia Health in order to be eligible to conduct a research project.
3.) Is the research project a requirement of the student's program?
• Research projects may only be conducted if the student's program requires a research project. Student is responsible for submitting proof that a research project is required.
4.) Does the student have an appropriate Principle Investigator identified?
• The Principle Investigator must meet all criteria and be willing and able to perform the responsibilities of the role per Essentia Health's Principle Investigator Policy.
